The Central Bank of Brazil broke its own record in the first week of March: for the second time, the system surpassed the mark of 170 million transactions in 24 hours.

🟢 No technical failures were recorded in the system that day.

🟢 Created in November 2020, by the end of February 2024, Pix had 160.83 million users. Of these, 146.95 million are individuals and 13.88 million are businesses.

🟢 In January, the Brazilian instant payment system exceeded the mark of 1.82 trillion reais (USD 366 trillion), processed in a month.
