🇧🇷 Brazil: the government has announced the suspension of betting platforms – operators must allow balance withdrawals until October 5

Deposits on the platforms have been banned since this Friday, following the publication of an order by President Lula da Silva's government.

💧 Until 23:59 on October 5, operators must let players withdraw their money voluntarily.

💧 From 0:00 on October 6, websites and apps must go offline: they can no longer accept bets or run advertising.

💧 On October 7–8, platforms are required to transfer remaining balances to banks, broken down by CPF, i.e. the individual taxpayer number.

💧 From October 1 to 14, banks must return the money to players. If a bank runs into a technical/operational block, Caixa Econômica Federal steps in from October 14.

💧 Money that is not withdrawn or returned within 180 days will go to a special Caixa account.
