⚡️Uzbekistan 🇺🇿: TBC UZ expands financial services for non-residents
Foreigners can now access the flagship Salom debit card, as well as deposits, transfers, utility payments, and more.
▶️The initiative is part of TBC UZ’s growth strategy in Uzbekistan, focused on broadening its product portfolio and attracting new customer segments.
▶️For Uzbekistan, the initiative opens new avenues for financial integration of highly skilled foreign professionals, students, and entrepreneurs.
▶️Access requirements: to use these services, non-residents must register via the TBC UZ app, providing a foreign passport, temporary registration in Uzbekistan, an identification number, and a local phone number. Additionally, the contract must be signed in person with a bank representative. Until the end of this year, these meetings will only take place in Tashkent.
▶️Context: Uzbekistan has a population of 37,535,605 and a GDP per capita of USD 3,510.
