🧐 Ukraine🇺🇦: regulator PlayCity launches DSOM — a new online gambling monitoring system

According to Focus Gaming News, the DSOM platform is currently operating in test mode, with only 11 Ukrainian operators connected so far. Integration is expected to become mandatory for all licensed operators in the future.

➡️ Following payment of the gambling license fee, data relating to a new operator will be added to the official registrywithin one business day. The company will then receive access to its dedicated account dashboard within the system. From the moment of integration, all information exchange is conducted automatically and through encrypted APIconnections.

➡️ DSOM is designed to monitor the entire gambling sector in Ukraine, giving PlayCity the ability to track any gambling transactions (bets, refunds, winnings) conducted within the regulated market.

➡️ The platform is divided into two sections: an internal module designed for government authorities and an external module intended for operators. Access on both sides is managed through unique identifiers. In addition, every individual transaction receives its own identifier, ensuring that transmitted data cannot be modified, replaced, or overwritten.

➡️ The system registers user transactions within gaming systems, but does not collect players’ personal data or track the movement of funds outside the gaming process. All data is transferred to the State Tax Service in anonymous form.

⚠️ Within the framework of the system, tax authorities will gain access to primary transaction data in order to calculate gross gaming revenue (GGR), as well as taxes on player winnings, the military levy, and personal income tax.
