๐Ÿ™ˆ Russia ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ: Rumors of a State Crypto Exchange are Overblown... but There Are Updates

Starting September 1, industrial-scale cryptocurrency mining and its use in international trade will be legal. However, the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange has clarified that it has no plans to offer cryptocurrency-related services. The same applies to the Moscow Exchange.

โžก๏ธ Nonetheless, the technology park in the Republic of Tatarstan is developing its own plans. Yakov Tenilin, founder of the "Crypto-Polygon" project, has hinted that the park, which is directly supported by the republicโ€™s Ministry of Digital Development, is working on something significant.

โžก๏ธ Additionally, the Tatarstan government is considering the launch of a "regional cryptocurrency mining operator,"which would allow large industrial companies in the republic to conduct cross-border payments in cryptocurrencies.

โžก๏ธ Another interesting detail: Russian stock exchanges might be planning to issue stablecoins pegged to the Chinese yuan and fiat currencies from other BRICS countries.
