🔠olombia🇨🇴: Over the last four years, the regulator has blocked more than 14,000 illegal online gambling sites

From 2020 to 2024, the National Council of Gambling Games and Betting Businesses (Coljuegos) issued 14,570 blocking orders against online betting sites, +120 social profiles that were used to promote illegal gambling businesses.

🔠The Council does not have direct powers for such sanctions, but it compiles evidence that is then sent to the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications (TIC) with a corresponding request. It is the TIC who must react afterward.

🔠 In 2024, the regulator plans to introduce local-scale games with fixed prizes: virtual bingo "Keno" and the lottery "Baloto".

🔠 Note: Coljuegos is affiliated with the Ministry of Health and makes mandatory contributions to healthcare.
