Starting in January 2025, 3 million Revolut customers in Italy will have access to a local IBAN starting with "IT". This initiative solidifies Revolut's presence in the country under the oversight of the Bank of Italy and the European Central Bank.

⚫️ A Revolut survey reveals that 46% of Italians consider having a local IBAN essential when choosing their primary bank. New customers will receive their Italian IBAN upon account opening, with no waiting time.

⚫️ Deposits of up to 100,000 euros will continue to be safeguarded by the Lithuanian Deposit Guarantee Fund 🇱🇹, providing the same high level of security as before.
