🙈 Europe: Belarusian Alfa-Bank 🥔 Mastercard cards to stop working from April 21

In late March, Visa was the first to introduce similar restrictions; Mastercard has since followed suit, according to reports.

📌 The restrictions will affect EU countries, as well as the non-EU states of the United Kingdom🇬🇧, Iceland🇮🇸, Liechtenstein🇱🇮, and Norway🇳🇴.

📌 Users will no longer be able to withdraw cash from ATMs, make payments in-store or online, or transfer funds between cards via local services.

📌 Alfa-Bank has advised clients in the EU, the United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway to withdraw their funds from ATMs or transfer them to cards issued by other Belarusian banks. The bank also confirmed that no fees will be charged for these transactions.
