😱 Colombia 🇨🇴: Coljuegos authorizes the inclusion of crash games and other online formats under the “Instant Win Games” category

Coljuegos has updated its “Instant Win Games” regulation by introducing new evaluation criteria, including active player participation and the use of dynamic multipliers.

The move is considered highly significant for the industry, as it creates room for new gaming categories that are already well established across other regulated markets.

➡️ Under the updated framework, Colombia’s regulation will now cover popular formats such as crash games, Mines(similar to Minesweeper), Pick Games, Reveal Games, and other hybrid instant-interaction products.

➡️ What will NOT be included in the “instant win games” category:

👉 Traditional lottery and ticket lottery
👉 Physical scratch lottery
👉 Pre-printed lotto
👉 Online lotto
👉 Super Astro tickets (selection of a 5-symbol combination)
👉 Keno (combination of 20 numbers)

➡️ The proposal was published for comments between February 27 and March 6, 2026, after which it was discussed during three regular sessions and one extraordinary session of the Coljuegos Board of Directors.
