⚡️Colombia 🇨🇴: Bancolombia requires QR code update before March 22

From this date onward, yellow QR codes and their digital versions will no longer be valid. Instead, a new black QR code will be implemented to enhance compatibility and security in electronic transactions.

➡️ The update will allow merchants to receive payments from Bancolombia accounts and other financial institutions in real time.

➡️ The new QR code can be obtained for free from the official Bancolombia portal: www.bancolombia.com/codigoqr. It will be sent via email, with the option to receive a physical version at the merchant’s address.

➡️ The change will affect more than 1.2 million points of sale across the country.

➡️ Each code will include the business name and the last 4 digits of the bank account to prevent fraud and tampering.
