๐ Brazil ๐ง๐ท: The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) bans advertising of betting houses not approved by the Ministry of Finance
The new regulation has come into effect, and as of today, notifications have been sent to club presidents.
โก๏ธ From now on, advertising from unapproved betting companies is prohibited on team uniforms. Clubs will have to redesign their jerseys at their own expense, without financial support from the betting operators.
โก๏ธ Those who do not comply with the new rules will be fined, and the amount of the penalty will be determined by the CBF presidency.
โก๏ธ The Confederation is basing its decision on Article 114 of the โGeneral Competition Regulations (RGC).โ
โก๏ธ This regulation affects both local and international betting companies, leading some to withdraw from the Brazilian market. For example, the Spanish company Dafabet will cease its operations in Brazil on Thursday, October 10.
