⚡️Azerbaijan🇦🇿: United Payment Becomes the First and Only Turkish🇹🇷 Company to Obtain an E-Money License

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan granted the Turkish company a comprehensive license, allowing it to open accounts, offer e-money (wallet) and virtual POS services, and conduct monetary operations both domestically and with international partners.

➡️ United Payment already operates in Georgia🇬🇪, Romania🇷🇴, and the United Kingdom🇬🇧.

➡️ In Azerbaijan, the company opened its office in 2020, obtained registration in 2021, and began full operations in 2023. After completing the e-money licensing procedures, United Payment plans to launch the Turan mobile payment application service.

➡️ The law "On Payment Systems and Payment Services," which regulates payment gateways in Azerbaijan, came into effect on November 10, 2023.
