๐USA๐บ๐ธ: Naoris Protocol launched a quantum-resistant blockchain to secure digital assets against future quantum threats
The new network uses algorithms approved by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
๐ Company profile: Naoris specializes in developing decentralized cybersecurity solutions. It was founded in 2018in Europe, although U.S. investment enabled the relocation of its team to the United States.
๐ Technical features: the network, named Mainnet, operates at the Sub-Zero Layer, an infrastructure layer positioned below traditional blockchain layers (L0โL3). This enables integration with EVM-compatible blockchains without requiring hard forks. A key feature is the integration of post-quantum cryptography, including the Dilithium-5algorithm, aligned with standards from NIST, NATO, and ETSI.
๐ Purpose: the development is designed to address future scenarios in which quantum computing could compromise current encryption systems, including those used in blockchain networks.
๐ Test results: the network processed more than 106 million transactions, blocked 603 million security threats, and onboarded a group of validator operators with invitation-only access. The system utilizes its native NAORIS token.
The Mainnet was launched on April 1.
