"America's High-Stakes Bet" — this was the theme of the first U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on sports betting, marking the beginning of a federal investigation into the industry.
🤔 Why now?
Since the Supreme Court's landmark decision in Murphy v. NCAA (2018), which overturned PASPA, sports betting has expanded to 39 states. Previously, only Nevada had legalized this practice.
