The "Center for Financial Technologies" (CFT), the developer behind the payment system "Zolotaya Korona," has been sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

➡️ "Zolotaya Korona" has been a key service for Russians to transfer money abroad following the disconnection from SWIFT and the exit of Visa and Mastercard payment networks.

➡️ Impact: Legal entities registered in the U.S. will not be able to interact with CFT, and CFT will lose the ability to conduct transactions in USD.

➡️ Domino effect: In addition to "Zolotaya Korona," the IT group of CFT includes the processing center "KartStandard", the interbank online banking platform Faktura.ru, and the public services payment system "Gorod".

➡️ Direct Hit: Previously, the "Unistream" service, which facilitated international money transfers, was also placed on the U.S. sanctions list.
