This year, over a hundred customers reached out to the BBC, accusing the digital bank of enabling fraud. Among the victims is an NHS consultant who lost £39,000 after being convinced to transfer his funds to a Revolut account.

🙂 Context: With 9 million customers in the UK, Revolut reported record profits of £438 million last year. Its popularity comes from features that simplify card linking, money management in multiple currencies, international transfers, investments, and access to cryptocurrencies. However, these features also present vulnerabilities. Additionally, there is no emergency number to block accounts, only an in-app chat.

Revolut representatives assert that fraudulent transactions were reduced by 20% last year, though this provides little comfort to those affected.
