😱 Uniswap Scam 🚨: fake promise of free crypto puts investors at risk!

🎭 A new sophisticated scam is making the rounds in the crypto market, this time exploiting the name of Uniswap, the world’s largest decentralized exchange. Scammers are leveraging PR NewsWire, a global press release distribution platform, to promote a fake 35 million $UNI airdrop. 🔗

➡️ What’s Happening?

➡️ A fraudulent "Uniswap Foundation" profile, created on PR NewsWire on January 24, 2025, has already published eight identical press releases, promising free crypto.

➡️ The scam redirects victims to a fake website where they are tricked into connecting their wallets, only to risk losing all their funds!

➡️ To appear legitimate, the campaign falsely links the scam to policies of former President Donald Trump and a supposed crypto distribution by Jupiter DEX.

➡️ How to Protect Yourself:

✔️ Avoid "too-good-to-be-true" airdrops promising easy profits.

✔️ Verify information through official social media channels and websites of exchanges.

✔️ Beware of urgency tactics: Scammers often pressure victims to act quickly.

🚨 The crypto market continues to attract both investors and increasingly creative criminals. Stay vigilant and protect your assets! 🔐
