⚡️UnionPay 🇨🇳 considers reactivating international payments for Russian clients 🇷🇺
This was announced by VTB Bank president Andrey Kostin during a VTB Private Banking meeting.

➡️ UnionPay cards allow users to pay for goods, services, and withdraw cash in more than 150 countries.

➡️ In the past, around ten Russian financial institutions issued UnionPay cards. Following U.S. sanctions 🇺🇸, currently only Rosselkhozbank (RSKhB) and the Asia-Pacific Bank continue to issue them. The ability to use them in countries with ongoing economic relations with Russia is of particular interest to users.

➡️ Status of Visa and Mastercard: According to Kostin, there are no prospects of a return as long as international sanctions remain in place.
