💣 Ukraine🇺🇦: the regulator revokes Cosmolot’s online casino license and expands sanctions across the sector

In Cosmolot’s case, the decision was based on the operator’s use of P2P payments and its acceptance of account top-ups from third-party bank cards.

💠 The state agency PlayCity not only revoked Cosmolot’s license but also imposed financial penalties:

🔺 8.6 million UAH (195,512 USD) for using p2p payments;

🔺 4.3 million UAH (97,756 USD) for accepting funds from third-party bank cards.
Notably, Cosmolot was the first platform in Ukraine to obtain a gambling license in 2021, a status that did not prevent the enforcement action.

💠💠 In addition, PlayCity also revoked the license and fined another local operator, Favbet Game Slots, which runs slot machine halls. While this case was not related to payment methods, it likewise resulted in regulatory sanctions.
