🤪 Ukraine🇺🇦: the Central Bank plans to update cashless transfer regulations
Officials have reopened discussions on changes aimed at simplifying money transfers without the need to open a bank account, both for service providers and users.
▶️ Differentiated data requirements:
👉 For crediting funds to a bank account, senders must provide the recipient’s full name (surname, first name, patronymic, if applicable) along with the account number and corresponding code.
👉 For transfers using an electronic payment instrument, the recipient’s payment card number or electronic instrument number is required.
👉 For cash withdrawals, the recipient’s full name must be provided.
▶️ For utility payments (such as water, electricity, or gas), the requirements will be simplified: the payer’s full name will no longer be mandatory, and only the tax identification number will be needed.
▶️ Senders will also have the option to enter the details of the actual payer, making it easier to handle everyday situations, including payments made by family members or third parties.
▶️ Additionally, payment institutions will be authorized to automate the completion of certain fields for transfers related to utilities, taxes, or other government-mandated payments, streamlining processes and reducing administrative burdens.
