⚡️Ukraine 🇺🇦: as of October 1, the National Bank (NBU) has changed card transfer rules

The new standards are based on open banking technology and require full identification of all parties involved in each transaction.

▶️A single list of mandatory details has been defined, eliminating the possibility of data falsification or substitution.

▶️Account statements must now include the full name of the recipient, whether an individual or a legal entity. Abbreviations and codes will no longer be accepted.

▶️Acquirers must display the recipient’s name before confirming the transaction.

▶️All operations will be executed only if extended information is provided — including both the full name and the account number.

▶️Context: Open Banking was officially launched in Ukraine on August 1, 2025. Initially, sharing user data was intended to be voluntary, but the new framework introduces mandatory participation.
