🙀UAE🇦🇪 surpasses UK🇬🇧 in global fintech ranking

The United Arab Emirates has overtaken the United Kingdom in the global fintech ranking after a $2 billion investment by MGX (Abu Dhabi) in the crypto exchange Binance.

▶️In the first half of 2025, global fintech investments reached $24 billion across 2,597 deals, a 6% increase compared to the second half of 2024.

🥉 3rd: United Kingdom 🇬🇧

(India 🇮🇳 is close in terms of capital volume).


▶️Despite dropping one position, the UK remains strong in operational performance. In 2024, eleven of its leading fintech firms — including Monzo, Revolut, and Starling — generated a combined $3.3 billion in pre-tax profits.

▶️As for the European Union, member countries secured $2.9 billion in H1 2025, marking a 28% increase compared to H2 2024. Top performers include:

France 🇫🇷: $693 million


Germany 🇩🇪: $668 million
