⚡️Thailand🇹🇭 will block access to unlicensed cryptocurrency platforms

The regulator decided to follow in the footsteps of India🇮🇳 and the Philippines🇵🇭, imposing stricter sanctions... although in general, Thailand is quite crypto-friendly.

🔣 The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DE) will be in charge of this.

🔣 Reason: the government considers that the Office of Economic Crime Enforcement (OCEC) fulfilling its duties. Apparently, the specific reason was the last scandal with the gambling platforms, which were confiscated with a considerable sum of 120 million baht (3,239,124 USD).

🔣 Recognizing the potential inconveniences for users, the "Securities and Exchange Commission" (SEC) announced a grace period for people to withdraw their assets from the prohibited platforms.
