🎉Thailand🇹🇭: KuCoin exchange launches a regulated cryptocurrency platform

🔴KuCoin exchange has obtained SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications.

🔴Following this, it acquired ERX, the first digital token platform in Thailand regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The regulator approved the operation after the acquisition.

➡️At the end of April, the platform was renamed KuCoin Thailand and all ERX users were migrated to the new KuCoin platform.

➡️Currently, the platform offers spot trading services and fiat services in Thai baht. The subsidiary plans to expand its services locally according to market demand.

➡️Context: There are eight other licensed crypto exchanges operating in Thailand: WAAN Exchange, Gulf Binance, Thai Digital Assets Exchange, InnovestX Securities, GMO-Z.com Cryptonomics, Upbit Exchange, Bitkub Online, and Orbix Trade. In addition, the Thai government is planning to allow tourists to make crypto payments through credit card integration.
