๐ฑ Russia ๐ท๐บ: T-Bank has adopted EDI with law enforcement authorities
The adoption of electronic document exchange (EDI) via the "Government Requests Sphere" service enables the swift and secure transmission of information, allowing for a rapid response to fraudulent activities.
๐ฃ Previously, processing requests took an average of 45 days. Now, with this system, response times have been slashed to just 8 minutes, with 24/7 availability.
๐ฃ All data is transmitted exclusively through secure communication channels, in an encrypted format (GOST-standard encryption), and is accessible only to law enforcement authorities within the scope of official requests.
๐ฃ Context: The โGovernment Requests Sphereโ service is a system for exchanging information with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Investigation Committee of Russia, FSB of Russia, and other related agencies. Itโs targeted at financial institutions, telecommunications operators, money transfer systems, electronic money systems, internet providers, marketplaces, and passenger transport operators. The solution is compatible with the IT architecture of banks and functions as an integrated module.
This innovation could mark the beginning of a new trend.
