The focus is on identifying additional phone numbers previously associated with illegal operations.

➡️ This is a pilot project by the Central Bank for data exchange with telecom operators. For instance, "MegaFon" is participating. More control and regulation... but is it justified⁉️

➡️ AAccording to a survey by the Bank of Russia, 86% of Russians have encountered fraud in 2024.

Criminals have managed to steal over 4.3 billion rubles from citizens.

➡️ Fraudsters are increasingly calling Russians claiming to be from the “WhatsApp Security Service,” with fake job offers being one of the top three fraud schemes this year.

➡️ The NSPK reports that fraud levels in the “Mir” payment system are about five times lower than the global average... though we are cautious about these claims. Nevertheless, we hope it's accurate.
