PayPal Holdings Inc. plans to integrate its stablecoin into most of its products.

⚫️ By the end of this year, the PYUSD payment option is expected to be available for 20 million small and medium-sized merchants worldwide. What’s important is that these merchants will be ready to work with the “palito” network, which will eliminate the need for currency conversion.

⚫️ Additionally, PayPal plans to add PYUSD as a payment option for international transactions through Hyperwallet, a service that helps organizations make bulk payments to contractors, freelancers, and vendors, no matter where they operate.

⚫️ By the end of the year, Hyperwallet will allow merchants to make crypto payments via PayPal Checkout.

⚫️ Reminder: stablecoins are digital assets whose value is pegged to a fiat currency (in this case, USD) to minimize volatility. PayPal made its first commercial transaction using PYUSD last year.
