📢 North Macedonia🇲🇰 and Moldova🇲🇩 join SEPA payment network, now covering 40 countries

The expansion of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) has been approved by the Board of the European Payments Council (EPC).

➡️ With this expansion, participants in the European payment system will soon be able to send and receive transactions with North Macedonia and Moldova via SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT), SEPA Instant Credit Transfer (SCT Inst), and SEPA Direct Debit (SDD) once financial institutions in these countries complete their integration.

➡️ According to the EPC timeline, Macedonian and Moldovan banks are expected to join SEPA by April 2025. The operational readiness date (ORD) for payment service providers (PSPs) in both countries is set for October 5, 2025.
