🔥 New Mexican service🇲🇽 will allow receiving money from the United States🇺🇸 through WhatsApp

The service has a daily limit of $3,000 and a monthly limit of $10,000. A commission of $2.99 is charged for each transaction, but the first transaction is free.

Involved actors and performers: Brazilian cloud bank NuBank, Mexican fintech Félix Pago, and the well-known payment system #SPEI.

🔣 How will this work? The recipient must:

1️⃣ Create a link to request a money transfer using the Nu app.

2️⃣ Send the link to the sender via WhatsApp.

During this process, they will interact with the Félix chatbot directly in the instant messaging application. The funds will be transferred to the recipient's Nu account in Mexican pesos through SPEI immediately.

🔣 Mexico is the second country that receives the most money from abroad in the world. The number of migrant workers in the United States is increasing, therefore, according to the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), from January to October 2023, $52.888 billion USD were sent to Mexico, 9.4% more than in the same period of the previous year.

🔣 On average, a Mexican migrant sends money transfers to their relatives 3 times a month, around $250 each time.

🔣 The payment platform Félix Pago is a Mexican fintech that supports transfers based on API + "Voice to Remittance" based on artificial intelligence.

🔣 Nu Mexico is present in 90% of the municipalities in the country. The launch of this new service was made possible by the conversion of the Sofipo license and the transformation into a versatile banking institution.
