The new electronic wallet from Banco de la República Oriental del Uruguay (BROU) is called "BROU a Mano".

➡️ It works on both Android and iOS and uses biometric verification. There is no additional cost.

➡️ Useful fact: In the last year, the use of instant transfers in pesos has grown exponentially in Uruguay. According to the Central Bank of Uruguay (BCU), between November 2023 and November 2024, these transactions increased by 143%, totaling 22.9 million transactions in the last twelve months.
