👛 Members of the European Parliament back plans to create an EU-wide digital wallet 🇪🇺

They have agreed upon a new digital identity framework, granting EU citizens direct cross-border digital access to key public services. The key concept is "anti-fraud" and personal data protection.
👉 It's a mobile phone application. For security (and transparency, of course...), open-source code is used.

👉 The wallet allows the possibility of an electronic signature, as well as information exchange between different users.

👉 The good news is that the use of the wallet is voluntary, meaning it's at your discretion.

👉 For the resolution to become law, it still has to be officially approved by the EU Council of Ministers.
