🎉 Mastercard launches blockchain payments initiative with PayPal, Binance and Ripple developers

The initiative, aimed at integrating blockchain capabilities with existing payment infrastructure, focuses on cross-border transfers, B2B payments and global payouts.

🔺 The program is part of Mastercard’s ongoing strategy to deepen its engagement with the digital assets ecosystem. The company has already supported crypto-linked payment cards, backed blockchain startups through its Start Pathaccelerator and developed solutions designed to help banks manage regulatory compliance and crypto-related risks.

🔺 A total of 85 companies have joined the initiative, including — in addition to exchanges and blockchain developers — fintech firms and banks such as Paxos and Gemini.

🔺 The initiative provides partners with access to collaboration forums, where they can work together and engage with the broader ecosystem of financial institutions and merchants connected to Mastercard.
