The move is part of a USD 4 billion global investment plan aimed at strengthening the company’s international presence and creating 10,000 jobs over the next five years.

▶️Latin America is emerging as a rapidly expanding market, with strong demand for digital financial services. Competition, however, remains intense, with Nubank currently dominating the digital segment in Mexico.

▶️The launch in Mexico, set for early 2026, will be backed by a full banking license. This key differentiator will enable Revolut to stand apart from Nubank by offering, in addition to instant transfers and app-linked cards, savings accounts with interest.

▶️In Colombia and Argentina, the company is in discussions with regulators to determine the scope of operations, with initial plans focused on a payments and transfers platform.
