The partnership between crypto exchange Kraken and global payments network MoneyGram will allow users to convert digital assets into cash through a worldwide infrastructure spanning more than 500,000 retail locations.

➡️ The agreement leverages MoneyGram’s physical, digital, and — most importantly — licensed financial infrastructure, enabling Kraken customers to withdraw funds in local currency across more than 200 countries and territories.

➡️ As part of its expansion into the crypto sector, MoneyGram has strengthened its ecosystem through APIs that allow fintech companies and crypto platforms to connect directly to its global network for domestic and cross-border money transfers.

➡️ Kraken remains responsible for customer onboarding and identity verification.

➡️ Users will be able to transfer funds to their accounts and convert cryptocurrencies into local fiat currency through instant or near-instant payouts, depending on the region and available withdrawal method.
