🎉Kazakhstan🇰🇿: Two more banks resume card issuance for non-residents
Nurbank and Home Credit Bank have resumed issuing cards to non-resident clients, responding to continued demand from citizens of Russia🇷🇺.

➡️Background: Earlier this year, several Kazakh financial institutions announced a suspension of this service for foreigners. Later, Halyk Bank, Kaspi Bank, and the local branch of VTB resumed this activity.

➡️Current status: Cards are now issued only in person at a bank branch. For Home Credit Bank, clients must appear in person with a foreign passport, IIN certificate, a labor contract with a local employer or documentation issued by a Kazakh university. In all cases, a visa or temporary residence permit in Kazakhstan is required.
