⛔️Kazakhstan🇰🇿: new rules in the law “on payments and payment systems” come into force on March 18

Under the updated rules, unidentified wallets will no longer be allowed to conduct transactions exceeding 3 MRP (12,975 tenge) per day. Compared with the previous regulations, the limit has been reduced 33 times.

⏩ The restriction will also apply to deposits made using a mobile phone balance. The operator Beeline has already begun sending notifications to customers, inviting them to complete the identification process.

⏩ Context: these regulatory changes are being introduced alongside blocks imposed on betting companies, including operators that are legally licensed. The aim is to bring all market participants into the Unified Betting Accounting System (ESU), which will enable the government to fully monitor deposit and withdrawal transactions within the gambling industry.
