Visa will launch AI-powered fraud prevention solutions as part of the comprehensive Visa Project package.

🟰 These new solutions can be used in instant A2A type payments and card-not-present (CNP) payments - both within and outside the Visa network.

🟰 The Visa Deep Authorization (VDA) system was developed especially for issuers confronted with increasingly sophisticated fraud schemes. This solution allows the real-time detection of fraudulent activities and immediate blocking of criminals.

🟰 VSA is a transaction risk assessment tool that optimizes the management of CNP payments: mainly using AI, trained in risk models and petabytes of contextual data. The positive aspect is that its utilization does not disrupt the transaction process.

🟰 Customers will have access to extended Visa authorization (VAA) and the Visa Risk Manager (VRM) for payments made with non-Visa cards.

🟰 Anticipated updates are expected to be available in the first half of 2024. Release dates will be determined by product and market.
