🔝Iranian ambassador🇮🇷in Moscow🇷🇺stated that by the end of 2025, payments with “Mir” cards will be enabled in Iran

According to local reports, 3 out of 4 integration phases of the payment systems have already been completed.

▶️The integration process will allow Iranian citizens (holders of “Shetab” cards) to withdraw cash in rubles from ATMs in Russia and make payments in the country using Iranian cards.

▶️The execution of this bilateral project will facilitate financial transactions between citizens of both nations and foster tourism and business activity.

▶️Additional note: currently, Russian citizens can pay in Iran using Mir-Rah, but only via Android devices. The exchange rate applied follows the official rate, which shows a significant negative gap compared to the unofficial market rate.
