In two weeks, bookmakers who want to promote their companies will need to apply for a special permit for advertising activities. It is understandable that only those who already have a license for legal betting or those who have at least submitted an application for legalization can do so. According to the National Advertising Self-Regulation Council of Brazil (Conar), everything is in order.

➡️ In order to advertise, Brazilian bookmakers will now have to provide a media identification number obtained for the permit.

🔣 If a foreign company plans to place advertising, then its official representative in Brazil must be responsible for the marketing.

🔣 The advertising product must include the "+18" label. It is prohibited to mention specific amounts of winnings, use visual elements associated with children or that may attract their attention, as well as use "age gated" content. Furthermore, the presence of children and adolescents in advertising is also prohibited; actors appearing in the advertising must appear and have the appearance of being 21 years old. Oh, and it is mandatory to mention that in most cases, money is lost instead of being won.

🔣 As for social media, only those influencers who create content for an adult audience will be allowed to place betting advertisements... Additionally, they are required to mention that they will earn money from such advertising. And those who violate the regulations will receive a warning first, and then a fine of up to 2% of the legal entity's revenue. The maximum limit is 50,000 reais (10 thousand USD).
