🥵 How the @gambling nickname auction will be held – and the starting price of the lot

As previously reported, the @gambling nickname auction will be held on Fragment – which opens up new possibilities, which we decided to take advantage of to organize the event... And at the same time we've moved the start of the auction forward a bit.

But let's get on with it:

1️⃣ It will be possible to make bids in the auction already today (❗️) from ~11:00 UTC time (we will inform you additionally).
➡️ on 13.12.24 at 11:00 UTC time will be the date of auction completion.
Thus, decision makers will have exactly three days to think, set up accounts and prepare funds (if necessary, we will provide assistance, you can contact @affivc).

2️⃣ The starting price of the lot is 150,000 USD in TON equivalent (approximately ~25k, depending on the exchange rate).

3️⃣ The Step* (the length of time the auction can continue if a new bid is received) will be set to 3 hours – to allow time to make a decision and take action to exchange and transfer funds if you decide to raise your bid.

*The step is used as a defense against sniping – a situation where a bidder expects to pick up a lot at the last minute

4️⃣ There is a bid-step (minimum next bid amount) of 5%. If your bid is outbid, the entire amount (including bid-step) is automatically returned to your balance.

Despite this – you can bid any amount higher to discourage other bidders from competing.
