Gnosis Pay🇬🇧 Partners with Visa to Expand Web3 Payments

The British blockchain project Gnosis launches its own Visa card, which is denominated in euros and already available in Europe.

🔣 It is a self-custody debit card, linked to a secure smart account.

🔣 Benefits for new users: the first users of the new card will be whitelisted as “OG NFT” and, consequently, receive exclusive rewards and IRL experiences. They will also benefit from zero fees on transactions, currency exchanges, and withdrawals.

🔣 Expansion: there are plans to expand the use of the Gnosis Pay card to the USA🇺🇸, Brazil🇧🇷, Mexico🇲🇽, and Indonesia🇮🇩.

Previous Visa attempts in the crypto market:

1️⃣ In December 2022, the company announced plans for automated payments from self-custody wallets and chose StarkNet for implementation.

2️⃣ In 2023, for merchant settlements in USDC, Visa turned to the Solana blockchain.
