Illegal gambling operators generated €91.6 billion in 2025, heightening regulatory concerns across the European Union.As a result, EU member states are estimated to have lost approximately €22.9 billion in tax revenue.

🌀 During a roundtable at the European Parliament, the European Casino Association (ECA) presented a report estimating that 6,200 illegal operators are currently active across the European market.

🔵 The German Sports Betting Association (DSWV) estimated that, during the FIFA World Cup, unregulated operators captured between €300 million and €400 million in revenue.
