👻Double standard detected🇷🇺: Sberbank found a way to transfer money to Europe

Reporters from The Bell discovered that it’s possible to transfer money by card number, bypassing sanctions and SWIFT.
➡️ A Sber operator confirmed that it’s possible to send money abroad — through intermediaries — in amounts of up to 500,000 rubles per transaction, or up to 3 million rubles per month.

➡️ On Sber’s website, there’s a list of countries to which transfers by card number are possible, including neighboring countries, China🇨🇳, United Arab Emirates🇦🇪, Serbia🇷🇸, Thailand🇹🇭, and Turkey🇹🇷. However, no official EU member country appears on the list.

➡️ Despite this, the money arrives the same day, and the transfer fee is 1% of the amount or a maximum of 3,000 rubles.

➡️ In reported cases, European banks Revolut 🇬🇧🇱🇹and N26 🇩🇪showed the sender as an unknown individual from Central Asia. Meanwhile, users of the Sber app saw the transaction as if the money had been sent directly to the specified European card.

➡️ When transfers were made to N26, the sender appeared as Qpayout. The Bell was unable to find detailed information about this company online, although it is mentioned as a payment provider in forums discussing withdrawal issues on online casino platforms.

➡️Revolut commented that “these transfers may be blocked, and the recipient’s account frozen or closed.”
This case raises questions about the use of intermediaries and the inconsistent handling of such transactions depending on their origin and regulatory framework.
