The global cryptocurrency adoption index consists of 4 sub-indices, each reflecting the use of various crypto services in each country. To compute these sub-indices, researchers analyzed transaction volumes based on the web traffic patterns of these services and protocols.

▶️ Inaccuracies: Experts noted that many users access the internet via VPNs, which can complicate the determination of their actual location. However, with hundreds of millions of transactions and 13 billion web visits, any misallocated volumes are minimal. Additionally, to gain better insights, researchers interviewed local cryptocurrency operators.

▶️ Top 20 countries with the highest crypto adoption: India 🇮🇳 leads the list, followed by Nigeria 🇳🇬, Indonesia 🇮🇩, the USA 🇺🇸, and Vietnam 🇻🇳.

▶️ Ukraine 🇺🇦 ranks 6th, while Russia 🇷🇺 is in 7th place.
