⚡️Coming soon ICE 2024❗️
In 2 weeks, one of the most prominent events of the year in the gaming industry will begin❗️
For those planning to attend, we have compiled a series of ⚡️Tips that we wish we had known before going for the first time...
👉 Exhibition Schedule:
Tuesday, February 6 from 10:00 to 18:00 - the busiest day
Wednesday, February 7 from 10:00 to 18:00 - less busy, scheduled meetings take place from the previous day
Thursday, February 8 from 10:00 to 16:00 - many people take their return flights on this day
👉 How to get there?
The event will take place at ExCeL London - metro station Canning Town, train station Custom House.
The minimum fare from the Oyster travel card is £2.7. The card itself costs £7. If using a bank card/Google Pay/Apple Pay, the journey will cost £6.7.
From the metro, it takes 30 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by taxi for £15-30.
If you intend to attend the event immediately after arriving, from Heathrow, you can reach it in the following ways:
🔣Taxi, in 45-90 minutes and £120-150
🔣Train, in ~60 minutes and ~£17
🔣 Metro, in ~80 minutes and ~£17, depending on connections
From Gatwick airport:
🔣Taxi, in ~60 minutes and ~£300
🔣 Train+metro, in 60-90 minutes and £15-30, depending on connections
In case of using a car, parking costs £20 per day.
👉 At the exhibition:
Cloakroom, bathrooms, ATMs, stairs, and elevators.
👉 Food and drinks
Kiosks, restaurants, and bars are available on-site throughout the day. The main challenges are queues and finding seating. Tables are limited, also due to the proximity of power outlets. For meetings, designated meeting areas or participants' stands, which are mostly welcoming, can be used.
WiFi access is provided, as a precaution.
👉 Leisure
In addition to the exhibition, don't forget to enjoy the city itself!
There are activities for all tastes and budgets; for example, visit the British Museum for free or the Harry Potter Museum, with a cost starting from £53.50.
We recommend purchasing all tickets in advance to avoid running out. To illustrate, you can buy online tickets for the iconic London Eye for £30, thus avoiding queues at the ticket office, where the same ticket will cost £42.
For lovers of fine dining, we suggest consulting the list of Michelin-starred restaurants. It is also advisable to book tables in advance.
‼️ Important‼️ - if you need to exchange cash, avoid doing it in the city center, as commissions and exchange rates can differ by up to 45%!!! Therefore, carefully read and review the exchange terms in advance (usually in small print and discreet appearance) or exchange it at banks or pay with a card when making purchases.
And for those who are not attending due to a lack of English knowledge (level "London is the capital of Great Britain"), we will soon be launching our own specialized English course in payments: Business English for High Risk Payment Sector!
