💯 Bron Labs🇬🇧 launches FaceScan for biometric wallet recovery

The feature usesiProov's Dynamic Liveness technology and allows users to recover wallets accessed throughfacial recognition.

🔣 What is Bron Labs ❓ — Bron Labs is a self-managed security platform for the cryptocurrency sector, founded by Dmitry Tokarev 2 years ago. Broadly speaking, it focuses on non-custodial wallets. In 2025, the company raised USD 15 million from approximately 140 investors, including LocalGlobe, Fasanara Digital and GSR.

🔣 FaceScan: is available worldwide across various devices and operating systems. However, it is intended exclusively for account and device recovery, not for everyday logins. Bron states that it does not store users' facial photographs or videos. Instead, the scan is converted into an encrypted biometric template.

🔣🔣 Security requirements: a newly registered FaceScan must go through a 30-day security period before it can be used. In addition, after an existing user’s FaceScan has been successfully verified, a 48-hour security delay applies before the device can be activated.

🔣🔣🔣 Integration: the new feature works alongside Guardian, Bron’s existing solution, which requires recovery codes provided by two trusted contacts designated by the user.
