According to a study by Payments and Commerce Market Intelligence, in 2025 digital wallets recorded 20% growth(particularly visible in e-commerce), surpassing the performance of the instant payment system Pix, which grew 18%during the same period.

🟰 This pace of growth allowed digital wallets to surpass traditional bank checks and become the third most-used payment method in the country, behind only Pix and credit cards, accounting for 9% of total transaction volume.

🟰 According to the Global Payments Report 2025 by Worldpay, 84% of Brazilians already use digital wallets regularly. In segments such as transportation, delivery services, streaming, and digital gaming, this payment method even surpasses credit cards in popularity.
