Tadeu Dantas, the company's business partner and the owner's cousin, was arrested during the second stage of "Arena" operation

🟢 It appears that this time PixBet may face the end of its operations. The company has already been banned twice: the first time, it managed to resolve its issues with the government, but in mid-August the SPA suspended it for violating the rules on the authentication of underage players.

🟢 The case has now taken on a new dimension: the Federal Police is investigating PixBet on suspicion of money laundering and tax evasion. During the first stage of the "Arena" operation, PixBet owner Ernildo Júnior was arrested and assets worth USD 214 million were seized. Authorities have now reached the company's second partner.

🟢 Scheme: according to the investigation, funds from betting were transferred to a shell company registered in Curaçao🇨🇼 and then returned to Brazil as payments for fictitious services. This is a known mechanism that has been used in similar operations.

🟢 Reference: PixBet is an online casino and betting platform that offers fast withdrawals through Pix. The company previously sponsored Flamengo ⚽️ and Corinthians ⚽️, but ended its agreements with both clubs amid financial disagreements. It also owns several sports assets, including FC Serra Branca Esporte Clube.

The case remains under investigation.
