#Brazil🇧🇷: New Regulations for Gambling Audits 🧐

Auditing firms in charge of online betting must demonstrate a minimum of three years of proven experience and are barred from entering into contracts with betting houses that organize the games.

➖ The recently established Secretariat of Prizes and Bets, operating under the Ministry of Finance, will be responsible for the certification process for companies conducting audits in the online gaming sector.

➖ The regulator will evaluate both the technological infrastructure and the adherence to legal, tax, and labor obligations.

➖ In article 9 of the decree prohibits professionals from the audit laboratories from working in betting houses that have obtained a Brazilian license for a period of less than one year.

➖ In Article 7, on the other hand, the auditing company is required to sign a statement asserting that it does not maintain relationships with and is not dependent on any other companies, private entities, or individuals that have an interest in the results of evaluations of betting games.
