According to a study by Hibou, a company specializing in monitoring and studying consumer demand, 68% of Brazilians regularly place bets.

➡️ The most popular sectors are lotteries (25%) and sports betting (11%). Online slot games are preferred by only 1% of the population.

➡️ The main advertising medium for betting is television, influencing 42% of bettors. Following are Instagram(33%) and digital influencers (19%).

➡️ The choice of bookmaker is based on recommendations from friends and family (32%), the operator's reputation(31%), and the bookmaker's sponsorship activities related to football teams (31%).

➡️ In the online casino segment, 69% of respondents mainly play Jogo do Tigrinho, a game developed by the Maltese team PG Soft. This group spends more money and time on betting. The survey showed that 50% of users spend between 35 and 90 USD on this platform.

➡️ Important Note: The full regulation of online betting will begin on January 1, 2025, with licensing managed by the Betting Management System (SIGAP). The number of applicants is steadily increasing.
